Not much needs to be said about Bowens lights , consistant, professional and 100% reliable.
The pulsar system can take getting used to as the card needs to learn your channel and can appear patchy at first when your using multiple cards. However once you get them both triggering it's a very good system and means no triggers hanging off your lights or more batteries to remember.
Negatives are prob the same as everyone elses , why can't bowens get the bag right? It's not the layout or size, just the stupid wee wheels that are to close together. If you've used a Bowens bag before you know that after a while because of this you get rub holes on the bottom corners. Simple solution is a hand cart , but annoying to have to do that considering the price. Also give me 2 cards in the kit, the slave just doesnt cut it for the 2nd head.
This kit is now the businesses 2nd bowens kit , the other being a 400/400 travel pak kit. This means we can use the Battery for this kit and we have a 100% reliable professional system.
Do yourself a favour forget cheaper brands and just get the Bowens in the first place. Bigger initial outlay , but longer life and lower overall owning cost because your not replacing it every 5 mins.
